It brings one of the major aspects of the south Indian school of Rhythm. There are ten important qualities called 'Tala Dasha Prana' where YATI is one of them. It speaks about the patterns in which rhythmic endings take place.

In this Keertanam each of the Yati's ascribed to one aspect of Shiva.
